This isn’t your typical adventure elopement, but I love it so much because of that! Not every elopement needs to involve hiking or driving hours to get to multiple locations. All the locations in this elopement were within walking distance and we had so much fun! It’s so important to remember elopements are what you make them, and you should have the freedom to do whatever you want!

This speakeasy inspired elopement was such a fun day to capture! The couple brought in a lot of personality to their details and activities! Elise and Christian started the day getting ready and rewriting their vows in their cute Airbnb in Roslyn, WA. Roslyn is a cute little town about an hour and a half from Seattle, WA. The town is super close to beautiful wooded areas, trails, and lakes! It makes for the perfect place to stay for an elopement or just a weekend escape from the city!

After getting ready, we headed to Base Camp Books and Bite's speakeasy inspired bar for the styled elopement ceremony and dinner. They even had a fun piñata!

Washington state elopement Picnic

After the ceremony was over, Christian and Elise went to the bar’s courtyard outside for some snacks and champagne! Christian actually proposed with a ring pop when Elise’s engagement ring didn’t come in time, so they decided to include a ring pop in the day as a way to remember that special day! After they had champagne we took some wedding portraits around Roslyn, Washington! Elise owns her own Skate shop in Atlanta Georgia, so they decided to include some skateboarding in the day! The skateboarding and ring pop is the perfect example of how you can make your elopement unique to you and your partnership!
