North Cascades Fire Lookout Elopement
Ariel and Drew flew all the way from Florida to elope in the North Cascades! They started their day getting ready and writing their vows into vow books in their super cute and cozy cabin Airbnb! Then we headed to a forest location that I scouted for them earlier in the week! We explored the trail, looked at massive old growth trees, and then headed up to one of the most beautiful hikes in the North Cascades!
We lucked out with no wildfire smoke despite there being smoke the days before their date. A & D’s elopement also represented a shift in the season for me because boy was it cold!! It’s no longer summer in the mountains, which means I’m pulling out my extra hand warmers, and packing gloves and beanies! The positive side of this shift is less bugs!
We still had an amazing day running around the mountains and freezing our butts off in one of the prettiest corners of the Earth!
