Mt. Rainier Elopement Photographer
You're in love—with each other and the landscape.
Let's capture both.
During every elopement there is this spectacular…moment. Where despite all the big feelings, you feel small in the magnitude of the scenery. You’ll be squeezing each other's hands, soaking in the view with sheer amazement.
Words don't do it justice. And that's exactly what images and memories are for.
THE MAGIC OF ELOPING IS PLANNING A WEDDING YOU’RE ACTUALLY STOKED ABOUT
AND LIVING EVERY EPIC MINUTE TO THE FULLEST
Sounds amazing, right!? But how exactly do you plan and execute this once-in-a-lifetime, heart-pounding, dream-worthy day?? Truth is, you’re going to need A LOT more than a photographer. You need a …
Permit resource
Windblown hair fixer
Officiant
And so much more…
Sounding board
Location scout
Safety advisor
Logistics planner
Kinda sounds like you’ll have a whole team following you up the mountain! Or … just me! My expertise paired with your vision makes an incredible team. Then on your wedding day, whether it’s an intimate ceremony with loved ones or a multi-day elopement, you’ll be able to fully let go and focus on the adventure.
Meet your Mt. Rainier Elopement Photographer
Hi! I’m Sierra! I’m an elopement and adventure wedding photographer based out of my self-converted camper van! I help down to earth couples plan and photograph epic elopements all throughout Washington, Oregon, and Utah. I absolutely love exploring all that Mt. Rainier National Park has to offer.
I’m not just a photographer. I’m your sounding board for dreaming up your perfect day, I’m your logistics planner, windblown hair fixer, tie adjuster, and so much more.
I’m an adventurer through and through and I’m here to help guide you through the process of planning and executing whatever day you and your partner dream up. From the moment you book me as your photographer I am there for you to help create an experience that you will remember and cherish.
My goal and hope is that by the time your wedding day comes along we already feel like close friends. I want to get texts of the wedding attire you picked out. I want to know what you love about your partner and how you met. I’m here for it all.

Where to elope in Mt. Rainier National Park
There are SO many incredible places to elope in Mt. Rainier National Park. Fire lookout towers, trails meandering through meadows full of wildflowers, alpine lakes, waterfalls, old growth forests, peaks with 360 degree views, and even the Wonderland backpacking trail that circumnavigates Mt. Rainier. There are trails for all levels including ADA paved trails with gorgeous views of Mt. Rainier. While there are a lot of different ways to access the park, there are two main areas that most people go—most people refer to them as Paradise and Sunrise. Both have a visitor center where you can get more information about trails and the park. Paradise is south of the mountain and is the most accessible high elevation area year round. There are a lot of trails to choose from here and one of the most popular trails is the Skyline Loop Trail. Sunrise (the location) is on the Northeast side of Mt. Rainier. It is very popular as well, but is only accessible during the summer and into fall until the first heavy snow. One of the most popular hikes at Sunrise is Mt. Fremont Fire Lookout, which is an absolutely incredible location and I highly recommend doing this hike if you’re able to. For elopements, it’s best to visit during sunrise (the time) to beat the crowds and see the most beautiful light!
Other popular and worthwhile areas to visit are Tipsoo Lake, Reflection Lake, and Grove of the Patriarchs (gorgeous old-growth trees). There are so many more hikes and locations that are my favorite in the park and that also tend to be a bit quieter.
Thinking about having a Mt. Rainier elopement but not sure where to go? No worries there! I’ve got you! I help nearly all my couples figure out the best trail for them. It’s one of my favorite parts about this job!
