Top Wildflower Elopement Locations for Spring

Columbia Gorge, Oregon

The Columbia Gorge is a wildflower paradise during spring! Explore areas like Rowena Crest, Catherine Creek, and Dog Mountain, where vibrant colors burst against the beautiful scenery of the gorge. As you exchange vows, you'll be surrounded by lush blooms and awe-inspiring views of the Columbia River winding through the valley. When we say it is absolutely stunning here, we really mean it. The blooms start around May which means mid-May or June would be the perfect timing for your wildflower elopement date! This iconic location should 100% be on your list of places to say your I Do’s at.

Wenatchee, Washington

Wenatchee is a hidden gem in Washington State, especially during spring. Specific areas like the Apple Capital Loop Trail and Ohme Gardens offer a gorgeous display of wildflowers. These locations offer picturesque views for your elopement - so much so you won’t ever want to leave this place. This location is filled with stunning wildflowers that make the perfect backdrop for any elopement photo and give you so much dimension, color, and beauty to your special day! One of our favorites is the Homestead Trail and Old Ranch Road Loop because the entire trail is covered in beautiful wildflowers! This is one of many options when you choose to say your I Do’s amongst the floral in Wenatchee, Washington!

Top Wildflower Elopement Locations for Summer

Mt. Hood, Oregon

During the summer months, Mt. Hood and its surrounding areas come alive with an array of various wildflowers. It is breathtaking! The Paradise Park Loop is a popular trail where you can discover a sea of lupines, Indian paintbrushes, and more. Think: hiking with your loved one, frolicking through fields of beautiful floral, having a picnic amongst your favorite flowers, and saying forever vows to your partner for life. Sounds amazing right? This is what you get when you choose Mt. Hood, Oregon for your wildflower elopement day. Your Mt. Hood elopement promises stunning views of all the local wildflowers!

Mt. Rainier, Washington

Mt. Rainier National Park is a must-visit destination for a summer wildflower elopement. Not only are the mountains a perfect backdrop for your elopement but you also get gorgeous floral everywhere! There are hundreds of different types of florals here covering full mountainsides. Can you imagine saying your I Do’s in front of huge mountains AND surrounded by thousands of different wildflowers? Absolutely stunning! Some of our favorite locations within Mt. Rainier are The Paradise and Sunrise areas. They both have breathtaking displays of wildflowers, including subalpine meadows popping with color. And, another favorite is Tipsoo Lake, surrounded by blooming meadows. This creates the perfect setting for your intimate celebration.

Mt. Adams/Goat Rock Wilderness

Mt. Adams is the perfect area to choose for your elopement if you’re wanting solitude and a unique elopement location. It also offers some incredible wildflowers (especially if you’re willing to hike for your elopement). Goat Rocks Wilderness is an area I especially recommend. It takes a lot of hiking 6+ miles to get out there, but then you’ll be rewarded with gorgeous wildflower meadows, beautiful views of Mt. Adams and the surrounding volcanoes, and quiet trails!

Mt. Baker, Washington

For a more off-the-beaten-path experience, consider eloping near Mt. Baker. The Skyline Divide trail offers an enchanting walk through meadows surrounded by lupines and heathers. As you exchange vows here, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the North Cascades and the towering presence of Mt. Baker. The best time to say your I Do’s at Mt. Baker, Washington to be surrounded by wildflowers is during the months of August and September and sometimes even July. Mount Baker is covered in wildflowers and it is breathtaking. Some hiking trails to consider to have the full effect of the wildflowers in bloom are Chain Lakes, Winchester Mountain, Yellow Aster Butte, and Hannegan Peak. Ready to hike the mountains and see 360 picturesque views? Grab your hiking boots, comfortable wedding dress, picnic & water, and let’s do this thing together!
