Prairie Creek Redwoods National Park Elopement

Love, family & friends, joy, nature, running water, ancient trees, ferns, whispered words, joining hands, sand in between your toes, first dances…these are the days & moments I get to capture. Marissa and Mary had such a beautiful elopement in the Prairie Creek Redwoods National Park. We started the day exploring Fern Canyon with it’s gorgeous maiden-hair fern walls and creek crossings. Then we headed to a beautiful ancient redwoods trail. Marissa and Mary wandered until they found a quiet spot to exchange vows and then afterwards we met their family for their official ceremony. Then we got a few more forest portraits before heading to the coast for a first dance and evening portrait session on the beach. It was a beautiful day from start to finish!
