Meet your Mt. Adams elopement photographer

Hi, I’m Sierra. I’m an adventure elopement photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Hood River, Oregon until I moved to White Salmon, WA in the middle of High School. I went graduated from Trout Lake High School, and I saw Mt. Adams every day. I feel pretty blessed to be able to say that. I genuinely love this area with so much of my heart, though it wasn’t until I left for college that I truly appreciated it. Being that I grew up here, I truly have so much knowledge to offer my couples who are considering eloping near Mt. Adams. I’ve even summited Mt. Adams and can give you insight into what the trek is like if you’re considering a Mt. Adams summit elopement!

Why should you choose a mt. adams elopement?

In short, the area surrounding Mt. Adams has SO much to offer. Not only does it have an amazing plethora of elopement ceremony and portrait locations, but it also has so much you can do before and after your elopement. Mt. Adams is a lot less developed than the surrounding volcanoes, so it makes for a much more secluded experience. Yes, you may see some locals hiking around, but you definitely won’t see the crowds that Mt. Hood and Mt. Rainier get.

Want to hike to a base of a glacier? Great, go head up on the mountain! Or better yet, want to exchange vows at the summit? Mt. Adams has a summit route that is very beginner friendly. Want to paddle board? Head to one of many local lakes! Want to see some gorgeous waterfalls and possibly even jump off some? Head to the Lewis River! Want to see a cute mountain town? Check out Trout Lake, Wa (fun fact—I graduated from High School there). Do you want to have a multi-day backpacking elopement? Perfect! There are some amazing backpacking trails (including the Pacific Crest Trail)! Or would you rather have more of a chill experience? Go huckleberry picking in the summer or mushroom hunting in the fall! Mt. Adams truly has so much to offer! You won’t be disappointed.

Mt. Adams Elopement Locations

Or maybe you want a more dry and desert feel? Just head East and you can find rolling hills with tall grasses and views of the Columbia. The area surrounding Mt.
