Lake Crescent Elopement
Lake Crescent Elopement
Kat and Joe (and their families traveled) from the East Coast to elope in at Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park. As Joe and their guests made their way to K & J’s ceremony spot, Kat had an adorable first look with her dad. I suggested this location to K & J because they had several elderly guests that couldn’t walk very far. I knew the perfect spot that would add a sense of adventure but was still accessible for their grandparents. They brought out blankets and I handed out all the hand warmers I brought! Then Kat and her father walked her down the aisle/trail to their ceremony. Kat’s grandfather officiated their ceremony and had everyone laughing at different points.
After Kat and Joe’s ceremony they briefly celebrated with their guests and then we took family portraits. Once the family portraits were done K & J said goodbye to their guests for a while to go get some 1 on 1 time and take portraits with me! We explored a forested trail near lake crescent and then headed back to their ceremony location to privately exchange personal vows.
