Castle Valley, Utah Elopement

Castle Valley, Utah Elopement

Lena and Kellen traveled from Seattle to elope in one of their favorite places to visit and climb—Moab, Utah! They chose to do a sunrise and sunset elopement so they could get the best of both worlds and start the day with just the two of them and then meet up with family later for an evening ceremony. We started the day in Castle Valley, exploring one of my favorite hikes in the area that I scouted for them the week of. They changed in the parking lot and then shared a first look just as the light was starting to fill the valley. We hiked past beautiful canyon walls and then they had a little breakfast picnic!

After their hike we parted ways for the afternoon to get some rest. Then we met back up for their ceremony at Dead Horse State Park. Kellen’s Dad officiated the ceremony and Lena’s brother played guitar as she walked down the “aisle” with with parents. It was a beautiful and peaceful ceremony on the cliff edge! After some sunset portraits we headed back to their airbnb for a private meal made by a chef! It was delicious and the perfect way to end an incredible day!

SUNSET CEREMONY

Castle Valley Elopement Photographer

Hi! I’m Sierra! I’m an elopement photographer based out of my campervan with my videographer husband, Garrett, and our pup! In the summer we call the PNW home and in the spring and fall we make our way to Moab and other parts of the southwest.

I’m not just a photographer. I help my couples plan their elopement from the ground up. I’m your sounding board for dreaming up your perfect day, I’m your logistics planner, windblown hair fixer, tie adjuster, and so much more.

I’m here to help guide you through the process of planning and executing whatever day you and your partner dream up. From the moment you book me as your photographer I am there for you to help create an experience that you will remember and cherish.

My goal and hope is that by the time your wedding day comes along we already feel like close friends. I want to get texts of the wedding attire you picked out. I want to know what you love about your partner and how you met. I’m here for it all.
