Artist Point Elopement
Artist Point Hiking Elopement
Oh boy, where do I even start? Steven and Melody’s elopement was beyond perfect. Everything from the hike up, to the privacy, weather, and insane views was just incredible. Artist Point is super unique, because it has views in every direction. It’s hard to know where to look, because it is all so gorgeous.
Artist point is usually a super popular spot for visitors and tourists, because it’s normally easy to access and obviously insanely gorgeous! At this particular time the road up to the top of Artist point was closed, so this meant that we had to hike up the 2ish miles to the top. There were several points where we lost the trail due to the snow, but we eventually made our way up to the top. I had scouted out the trail the night before, so I was confident we’d make it in good time. From there everything went beautifully! We had the trail mostly to ourselves and only saw one group of hikers the entire way up.

Artist Point Hiking Elopement
Once we got to the top, we realized we were the only ones on the mountain. For such a popular area, this was incredibly lucky! The fact that it was close to sunset and the trail was covered in a decent amount of snow, seemed to help deter most people from exploring the area. Melody touched up her makeup as Steven got changed and then I helped Melody into her dress in private. Then M & S had their first look! After the first look we continued hiking to find their perfect ceremony spot! The two of them exchanged their vows in complete privacy with Mt. Shuksan as their backdrop. After that the two of them had a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful view in front of them. After their picnic we started exploring the area and took portraits. We ended the night by hiking back down the road and sharing chocolate and conversations as we walked back to our vehicles.
